With staff members (Bruce Durden) and family (daughter, Ashlynn Durden), racing in different divisions around the State of Florida and Southeast Georgia, visiting 6-8 different tracks around the area each season. You just never know where you might run into this Family duo and you can be sure they will be going fast and turning left! |

President of Durden
Surveying, Bruce Durden, has been auto racing for most of
his life, if it can be raced Bruce probably has tried it-
mud drag racing, motor cross, boats, late models, mini sprints,
limited sprints and even the SUPER Fast 360 Sprint Cars.
Today Bruce Durden can be found racing his limited 360 Sprint
Car all over Florida and in parts of Southern Georgia.
In the 2011 race season, Bruce will be running at some of
these fine racetracks; Volusia County Speedway, Waycross
Speedway, North Florida Speedway and even Eastbay Raceway
down by the Bay (Tampa, Fl).

Being that Bruce still is dedicated to his local club the
FSCA (Florida Sprint Car Association) and also likes to get
an adrenaline rush with the Top Gun Sprints down in the Tampa
area.
Oh, and we can't forget Bruce's 20 year old daughter, Ashlynn
Durden, who will be starting her 2nd year of racing in the
2011 season (which, hopefully, will be her first FULL season
racing with the FSCA).
Ashlynn's interest in racing began with her wrenching away
on her father's car for many years of her life. With little
to no experience in an actual Sprint Car, in 2009 her father
allowed her to "practice" in his limited 360 Sprint at North
Florida Speedway! Little did he realize, she fell in love
with being behind the wheel of an actual Sprint rather than
just working on Sprints.
To this day she keeps up the maintenance on Bruce's and her
cars, and now has her own 11D limited 360 Sprint Car and runs
with the same class as her father (FSCA and Top Gun Sprints).
Ashlynn Durden may still be learning these tracks that her
father's been racing on for years, but she seems to be catching
on "fast" and isn't afraid of being apart of a mostly male
dominated sport. |
